The “Eggnog Martini” is a festive cocktail blending the rich flavors of eggnog, vanilla vodka, and amaretto. It’s often garnished with a vanilla frosting and sprinkle-coated rim for a delightful holiday touch.
Ingredients
- 2 oz (60 ml) egg nog
- 1 oz (30 ml) vanilla vodka
- 1 oz (30 ml) amaretto
- Vanilla frosting to coat rim
- Sprinkles to put on vanilla frosting
- Ground nutmeg and cinnamon for garnish
- Cinnamon stick for garnish
Steps
- Place martini glass in the freezer to chill.
- In a shaker, combine the egg nog, vodka, and amaretto.
- Add cubed ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass.
- Optionally, coat rim with frosting and cover with sprinkles.
- Dust drink with ground cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Garnish with cinnamon stick.
Notes
- I did not have vanilla vodka so I just put a few drops of vanilla extract into the mix.
