The “Eggnog Martini” is a festive cocktail blending the rich flavors of eggnog, vanilla vodka, and amaretto. It’s often garnished with a vanilla frosting and sprinkle-coated rim for a delightful holiday touch.

Eggnog Martini


Ingredients

  • 2 oz (60 ml) egg nog
  • 1 oz (30 ml) vanilla vodka
  • 1 oz (30 ml) amaretto
  • Vanilla frosting to coat rim
  • Sprinkles to put on vanilla frosting
  • Ground nutmeg and cinnamon for garnish
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish

Steps

  1. Place martini glass in the freezer to chill.
  2. In a shaker, combine the egg nog, vodka, and amaretto.
  3. Add cubed ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  4. Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass.
  5. Optionally, coat rim with frosting and cover with sprinkles.
  6. Dust drink with ground cinnamon and nutmeg.
  7. Garnish with cinnamon stick.

Notes

  • I did not have vanilla vodka so I just put a few drops of vanilla extract into the mix.
