The La Paloma mixes tequila with grapefruit soda and a splash of lime—it’s refreshing, crisp, and super easy to sip.

La Paloma


Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz (45 ml) blanco tequila
  • 0.75 oz (22.5 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz (15 ml) Simple Syrup
  • Top Mexican Squirt
  • Grapefruit Twist/or Wheel for garnish

Steps

  1. Chill a Collins glass in the freezer.
  2. In a shaker, combine the tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup.
  3. Add cubed ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  4. Fill the Collins glass with ice.
  5. Pour some squirt in the chilled glass.
  6. Strain the shaken ingredients into the chilled glass.
  7. Top off chilled glass with squirt.
  8. Garnish with grapefruit peel.
