The La Paloma mixes tequila with grapefruit soda and a splash of lime—it’s refreshing, crisp, and super easy to sip.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz (45 ml) blanco tequila
- 0.75 oz (22.5 ml) fresh lime juice
- 0.5 oz (15 ml) Simple Syrup
- Top Mexican Squirt
- Grapefruit Twist/or Wheel for garnish
Steps
- Chill a Collins glass in the freezer.
- In a shaker, combine the tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup.
- Add cubed ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Fill the Collins glass with ice.
- Pour some squirt in the chilled glass.
- Strain the shaken ingredients into the chilled glass.
- Top off chilled glass with squirt.
- Garnish with grapefruit peel.
