Spiced Rum Cider


Ingredients

  • Half an apple (sliced)
  • Half an orange (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 quart apple cider
  • 0.25 cup light brown sugar
  • 0.5 tsp allspice
  • Pinch ground nutmet
  • 0.5 cup dark rum
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Extra cinnamon sticks for garnish

Steps

  1. In pan, combine all ingredients besides rum.
  2. Bring to a simmer and set a timer for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and strain into glasses.
  4. Garnish with cinnamon sticks.

  • Accidentally added double brown sugar, was still good.
