Hot Buttered Rum


Ingredients

  • 2 oz (60 ml) dark rum
  • 1 Tbps room temperature butter
  • 1 Tbps packed brown sugar
  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground clove
  • Pinch of ground allspice
  • 0.25 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 oz (120 ml) hot water
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish

Steps

  1. Temper heat resistant glass with some hot water.
  2. Add all ingredients besides the hot water.
  3. Add the hot water.
  4. Stir with mixing spoon until all ingredients are disolved.
  5. Garnish with Cinnamon stick.

Notes

  • I did not love this… May need to try with different ingredients. Butter was too much for me.
