White Lady


Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz (45 ml) gin
  • 1 oz (30 ml) Cointreau
  • 0.75 oz (22.5 ml) lemon juice
  • 0.33 oz (10 ml) simple syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • Lemon peel for garnish

Steps

  1. Chill a coupe glass in the freezer.
  2. Add the egg white to a cocktail shaker.
  3. Dry shake (shake without ice) to froth the egg white.
  4. Add gin, Cointreau, lemon juice, and simple syrup to shaker.
  5. Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously until well-chilled, about 15 seconds.
  6. Double strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
  7. Express lemon oils over the drink and garnish with the peel.
