Ingredients
- 1.5 oz (45 ml) gin
- 1 oz (30 ml) Cointreau
- 0.75 oz (22.5 ml) lemon juice
- 0.33 oz (10 ml) simple syrup
- 1 egg white
- Lemon peel for garnish
Steps
- Chill a coupe glass in the freezer.
- Add the egg white to a cocktail shaker.
- Dry shake (shake without ice) to froth the egg white.
- Add gin, Cointreau, lemon juice, and simple syrup to shaker.
- Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously until well-chilled, about 15 seconds.
- Double strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
- Express lemon oils over the drink and garnish with the peel.
