Ingredients
- 1.5 oz (45 ml) cognac
- 1 oz (30 ml) Cointreau
- 0.5 oz (15 ml) fresh lemon juice
- White sugar, for rimming the glass
Steps
- Chill a cocktail glass in the freezer.
- Cut a small piece of lime and use it to moisten the rim of the chilled glass.
- Pour some white sugar onto a plate, and roll the rim of the glass in the sugar to coat it evenly.
- In a shaker, combine the cognac, Cointreau, and lemon juice.
- Add cubed ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
- Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass.
